LEAGUE Members,

Happy New Year!
I hope each of you took some well-deserved time off to unwind, connect with loved ones, and revel in the holiday spirit! Remember to prioritize self-care and mental wellness. If you need a boost, be sure to visit the Caring for our Community page for helpful resources.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate our amazing achievements in 2024!

2024 Accomplishments:

  • Empowering Futures: We awarded 13 scholarships worth $30,000 to exceptional LGBTQ+ high school seniors, paving the way for a brighter tomorrow!
  • Career Boost: Partnering with nine ERGs, we invited LinkedIn influencer (and former AT&T superstar) Stan Miller to help our members polish their resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and interview skills.
  • Epic Pride Celebration: Our collaboration with External & Legislative Affairs brought a fabulous Pride event in San Diego. The success of this celebration will guide our future events!
  • Dynamic Discussions: Kudos to the PRIDE committee for organizing several thought-provoking panel discussions, some in partnership with other companies, ERGs, and business units.
  • Exclusive Film Screening: We teamed up with the director of “The Lavender Scare” for an exclusive screening, with over 125 streams and numerous watch parties hosted by our members.
  • EGC Booth: At the Employee Group Conference in Dallas, we ensured our booth and presence made a difference by contributing blankets to LGBTQ organizations supporting homeless youth.
  • Sneaker Fundraiser: Our first-ever Tennis Shoe Sale, featuring original designs by our members, raised nearly $700! Look out for another sale this year and get ready to submit your design ideas.
  • Mentoring Circles: Over 50 members joined our experimental Mentoring Circles, and we’re excited to implement the successful elements in 2025.
  • Community Support: Through DEI/Bridging the Digital Divide funds, we donated over $15,000 to local LGBTQ organizations, reinforcing AT&T’s commitment to connectivity.
  • Streamlined Scholarships: We revamped our Foundation and Scholarship application process to be more agile, gearing up for the next chapter of supporting our youth.
  • Inclusive Policy: The updated Gender Identity and Transition Guidelines Policy was published. It has been a collaborative effort that now better supports our transgender, gender non-conforming, and transitioning colleagues better.

What a year! Locally, you all went above and beyond to celebrate our communities’ diversity. Let’s gear up for an even more phenomenal 2025!
