Marie brings over 25 years of experience to the table. Although she has not served as a union steward, for the past 15 years she has consistently supported union members with contract-related issues. Her long-standing career is marked by her deep understanding of union matters and her proactive approach to resolving issues. 

Marie is a passionate activist for the transgender community, boasting a substantial following of 40,000 to 50,000 people across various social media platforms. She is fearless in advocating for justice and is adept at public speaking. Her activism is driven by the philosophy, "Save one life. Change one heart. Change one mind.“ Marie’s most profound achievement is her resilience and survival despite enduring severe verbal and physical abuse due to her identity as a transgender woman. She leverages her experiences to inspire and instill hope in others, demonstrating her strength and commitment to making a positive impact within the LGBTQ+ community.
